Welcome to Eastbourne Primary School.

Our School Captains take a tour around our school and explain a little of what we do at Eastbourne Primary School!

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of the land that Eastbourne Primary School is built on, that is Bunurong Land.  Always was. Always will be.

We pay our respects to the Elders past, future and present.

Diversity and inclusivity are important to Eastbourne Primary School and we are committed to ensuring our school and services reflect this. Everyone is welcome at Eastbourne P.S.

The Principal’s Welcome

Eastbourne Primary School provides high quality, engaging education, promoting opportunities for success and developing positive values within a safe, secure, supportive and caring community environment for all students.

We help students learn to develop confidence, be creative, be active and informed citizens. We support each child on their learning journey by embracing challenges and celebrating success.  Eastbourne provides a balance of academic and social learning to develop the ‘whole child’ by supporting our students with compassion and extension in all interactions.

Eastbourne Primary School exists to support the students and families of our community to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. We do this by enhancing learning and development, through strengthening families and helping people to gain the skills and knowledge they need to thrive and participate in a complex and challenging economy and society.

Our school is nestled in Capel Sound on the Mornington Peninsula and boasts large, spacious grounds for our students to play and learn. Our values of Respect, Learning, Collaboration and Community are the centre of how we behave and operate.

I welcome you to come to our school and take a tour on our lovely site. This will complement what you see here on our website, to gain a greater understanding of how we all learn and grow.

Regards,

Steve Hamill

Principal
