Out of School Hours Care

Our Out of School Hours Care Service aims to extend students learning and development, implementing the 'My Time, Our Place' framework for school age care.

The centre operates every school day, opening at 7:00 am until school starts at 8:45. In the afternoon children are collected from their classroom and care is available until 6:00 pm.

The centre's Vacation Care Program is popular each school holiday. Vacation Care staff ensure that children engage in fun, active, developmentally appropriate learning activities during the school holidays including excursions locally, including the Boneo Maze, and across Melbourne and Regional Victoria including Phillip Island, Scienceworks and Melbourne IMAX Cinema and Museum. We have fun and educational programs at the school including ‘wheels days’, art and craft activities, cooking, sports, gardening and exploring our beautiful local community.

Our goal is to make learning fun for all students in Out of School Hours Care. Our caring staff create a happy environment for children to learn. We utilise Eastbourne Primary School’s wide range of facilities to engage children in a variety of activities. Our Recreation Centre, Library, Computer and Science Labs, Music Room and large outdoor playing areas are widely used during the duration of the program.
